growing violence in our towns & cities means that we need an effective
defence against unprovoked attacks - a Martial Art enthusiast & Instructor
is helping out.

One of the Midlands leading Martial Art & self-defence Instructors - Martin
Blakeway is getting the public to "Fight Back" against the frightening
increase in street crime. Martin has been involved in Martial Arts for
over 18 years and has attended courses & seminars from some of the UK
& Worlds best Martial Artists.
Through his experiences in training & coaching Martin has realised the
need for good self-defence for a long time and has developed this new
breed of Martial art to cope with all sorts of situations Martin teaches
a multi-style Martial art called Chongshin Do - The Way of the Spirit.
Chongshin Do classes are held throughout the midlands including classes
in Walsall and the Sutton Coldfield area. It is a Martial Art that encompasses
many forms of techniques from styles such as Aikido, Jujitsu & Taekwondo.
Martin has been conducting "Streetwize" Self-defence courses for
adult education centres for Birmingham City & Walsall Councils over the
last few years. He has seen the number of street crimes committed rise
considerably in our areas and is putting on two seminars for the public
to grasp some simple yet effective self-defence techniques. With the help
of some of his top instructors including World Kickboxing Champion Sensei
Paul Taylor Martin will present an informative, fun and practical seminar
that will give the student a little knowledge on how to deal with a confrontation
or violent situation.
These seminars build confidence and awareness - simple & effective techniques
are used to deal with a multitude of different situations.
