Richard Barrett 2nd Dan

Instructor at Frank F Harrison School - Bloxwich

Richard was one of the first students at Bloxwich and has trained regularly ever since. Coached by Sensei's Martin Blakeway, Wayne Whitehouse and more recently by Paul Taylor, Richard has proved himself to be a fine Martial artist and recently a great coach.
Richard also had his difficult times while training towards Black Belt - however he always attended classes - even with a broken foot and the pressure of running a family he still continued to push himself hard and make steady progress.
A few years ago he tested himself to the extreme with a Full-Contact fight, which he won convincingly. Richard has also attained qualifications in coaching, refereeing & judging and now coaching club of his own at the Frank F Harrison School - Bloxwich Club. He recently was promoted to 2nd Dan. He has recently produced some full-contact fighters of his own from the Bloxwich club.
