Insurance
- Message from Soke :-
We are covered by MAAS insurance (one of the best
Martial Art insurances available) - All students regularly training MUST be adequately
insured - if you have not filled out a pink insurance form please see your instructor
for one - also sheet on why and what is covered.
£15 for a years Martial
Art Cover (juniors £10 per annum) -
We have only had one claim in many
years - however in this "Claim Culture" we must be covered for our own
protection & safety - do it NOW .

/ BKBU Semi and Full-contact KICKBOXING show - Sunday 5th October

Semi-contact fights, evening show Semi-contact Title Fights + Full-contact novice
fights - R U Interested - see Me, Ben or Sensei Richard Barrett and put your name
forward - Start your preparation NOW -
Ben Vowles will be making his fourth
appearance in the ring for Full-Contact with the BKBU (many others with semi-contact
promotions) - lets hope this time he will have the ring-craft & preparation
necessary to get the win he truly deserves. It is a re-match from the MAAS promotion
in Sutton Coldfield when he lost by a point !! - Also fighting on the evening
will be David Roe - (Sutton) with his first full-contact fight.
We will need
all the support we can get - so put your name down for semi-contact in the day
and see our fighters kickbox their way to victory! - only ONE MONTH to go -- See
your instructor for details.

Club opening - Great Barr
We are pleased to announce another club opening
very soon - Sensei Gary Taylor is to open a club on Monday nights at Dartmouth
High School, Wilderness Lane, Great Barr. Mondays 6.15 - 7.45pm

Instructor change - Plantsbrook
Planstbrook is now under the charge of
Sensei Andrew Docker -Sutton members hould take advantage of the twice a week
training in this area - (Sutton Girls - Mon & Plantsbrook -Thurs) - note that
Sensei Jim Lloyd will be helping out at this club along with other senior members
of Chongshin Do.
Gradings
in September - Arthur Terry
The next grading will be on Tuesday 30th September
- Arthur Terry Sports Centre - Kittoe Rd - Four Oaks. 8.30pm after class. Be sure
you have the grading form correctly filled out with your PHOTO on the form.
Meditation
self awareness Seminar - November 2nd
All Instructors must make this opportunity
to experience firsthand the true benefits from meditation. This will on Sunday
