This newsletter is full of great Martial Art events - experience as much as you can and broaden your horizons - never pass up an opportunity that will enrich your development within this martial art. As an Instructor I organise and promote events that will benefit the student - I can show you the door - you are the one that has to open it!

Europe's Biggest Martial Art Exhibition - SENI 2004
Once again we will be demonstrating at the huge Martial Art exhibition at the NEC - Birmingham. We will be showing the 1000's that come to the show our training techniques, including our TKD, Jujitsu and self-defence demo's and for a few - a chance to spar in a boxing ring, refereed and judged. Take this great opportunity to be part of this Martial Art event and join the demo members on the weekend of Sat24th & Sun25th April - Note on the Saturday evening some members are going to watch a full -contact show "Pain and Glory" that includes K1 eliminator fights, Kickboxing and MMA (Mixed Martial Arts -Grapple fighting) which (may) include one of our old Instructors - Paul Taylor! 10th Dan Soke Seminar - in the midlands
Saturday 22nd May - Another fantastic opportunity to be taught by one of Britain's greatest Martial Art Grandmasters - 10th Dan Soke Brian Dossett.
He will be taking the Black Belt members through their paces on the morning with a 2nd Dan Grading for the Chongshin Do Instructors who qualify.
Sensei's Steve Pride, Chris Whiting, James Lloyd, Andrew Docker, Richard Barrett - must attend meeting on April 8th Thursday - after class.

Instructors Meeting - Thursday April 8th - 8.30pm Arthur Terry Sports Centre - Four Oaks.
ALL BLACK BELTS, Club and National Instructors to attend. Senior grades should also attend - See me if you want to be part of the driving force behind Chongshin Do. Issues include SENI, KO'd 4, and 2nd Dan Gradings. NOTE - BLACK BELTS should ALL be registered with MAAS - are you? Forms were given out to all 1st Dan members.

Semi contact Kickboxing event
Sat 8th May - Surrey
All fighters should register with the BKBU - online at www. spiritcombat.com - take part in these events and broaden your experiences and development within Chongshin Do. Semi-contact is for ANYONE - regardless of experience / grade. On this show James Eccles will be fighting it out for the Men's A Class Middleweight Title against Daniel Olive (Isle of White Kickboxing Academy). As you know he came close to snatching it last year - without preparing for it - this time James will be ready!
Ben Vowles is still no1 Contender for the BKBU Cruiserweight Full-Contact Title (to be challenged later this year). These two and many others will be pushing their own limits to improve their skill and personal achievements in these events. DO IT NOW - places are limited get in early!

Gradings
The following dates are for Graduates who have prepared for the opportunity to continue their development - are you ready ! - Fail to prepare - prepare to Fail
Bloxwich - Low Grade Members 10th - 7th Kup - Adults & Children 7pm Wednesday 31st March - Frank F Harrison School - Leamore Lane, Bloxwich.
High grade grading (6th Kup +above) has been put back until April 29th - this will give more members the time needed to get all syllabus up to the required standard. Be prepared!

Meditation / personal awareness day date TBC
This training and development course has been put back until further notice - we have had a great deal of response to this and will be putting on the first session again soon. Dates TBC.
Meditation is a skill - a discipline - a tool - this course will help you develop the techniques to meditate well and use it for every day purposes E.G ..stress relief, problem solving, relaxation and techniques to improve confidence etc. A rare chance to allow your body, mind and spirit to be in peaceful harmony!
